Govt trying to restore Pakistani flag: BNP
Bangladesh Patriot Party (BNP) secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on Wednesday asserted that the legislature is planning to reestablish "Pakistani banner" by taking a move to evacuate the foundations made reshaping Louis I Kahn's unique outline of parliament complex, reports UNB.
"Pakistani despot Ayub Khan had chosen world celebrated modeler Louis I Kahn to make the outline of parliament complex, secretariat and the then focal governments' foundations at his announced Ayub Nagar here. The outline had been made in view of Pakistan's banner," he said.
Talking at a dialog, he additionally said, "Whose outline would you say you are presently going to reestablish? Would you like to evacuate the foundations out of the outline to secure the Pakistani banner? You should answer this question of individuals."
The BNP masterminded the program at the Organization of Designers, Bangladesh, honoring the fall of military ruler HM Ershad on 6 December 1990.
