Narayanganj officials clear eight candidates for mayor race

Autonomous applicant Sultan Mahmud has been excluded as he neglected to present the required number of voters' support in the selection archives.

The six different hopefuls are Inu-driven JaSaD group's Moslem Uddin Ahmed, Mahbubur Rahman Ismail from Biplobi Specialists' Gathering, Rashed Ferdous Sohel from Bangladesh Kalyan Party, Mufti Masum Billah of the Islami Andolan Bangladesh and free competitor Mezbauddin Bhulu.

Returning Officer Nuruzzaman said the individuals who have been denied selection can speak to Dhaka's Divisional Magistrate.

The decisions are slated for Dec 22 while the due date to pull back assignments is Dec 4.
